Maria Davies Bligh Art

Maria Davies Bligh is a positivity enthusiast known for her realistic portraits of animals, her favourite beings. She aims to bring pleasure to the world one piece of artwork at a time.

Born in Liverpool, raised in Scotland and now based in Sussex, Maria’s previous hectic business that saw her travelling the world was cut short due to eyesight loss through glaucoma.

It’s incredible, then, that Maria has rekindled her lifelong passion for art and now produces in her home studio.

Her creations are the culmination of an obstinate search for a photo-like realism that leaves the viewer stunned and delighted at the skill reflected in each artwork.
She aims to complete as many projects as possible before sight loss stops play and is proud to have already worked on commissions for environmentalist, Dame Jane Goodall.
